NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Review

As you guys may have seen already I purchased this NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil a few days ago when I was still on vacation. I'm back now and finally had time to try this baby out! I've seen a lot of people raving about this product so of course I had to try it out myself. :)

The color I went for is #617 Iced Mocha because I thought the color looked really nice and I didn't have anything similar to this yet.

This bronzy color looks absolutely gorgeous in the sunlight, the consistency is really soft and creamy which is really gentle on the eyes.

This is what it looks like when it's heavily applied. The color is really shimmery but the pigmentation is not that great. I used it as an eyeliner on my top lids today without an eyeshadow base and the color totally disappeared after 5/6 hours which really dissapointed me. I expected this product to be really pigmented and longlasting...

When blended out you can still see a wash of color and shimmer, but it's not as bright as I expected it to be. Maybe it's just my expectations that were too high. I haven't tried this out as a base for eyeshadow yet, so I should probably try that out and see how it works out! I really want to like this product since I payed €5,03 for it which I usually don't spend on eye pencils.
I do want to try out more NYX products to see how those work out for me, I heard their cream blushes are really nice! :)
