Glitter Ice Cream Nail-Art

Hey girls! I was in a Nail-Art mood today... does that make sense? Probably not. I was looking for some inspiration on YouTube and Google, and after looking at some designs I decided to do ice cream nails. They're really cute and perfect for summer!

Start off by using a base coat, followed by a sand colored nailpolish as your base color for the ice cone. I'm using Sand Tropez by Essie.

Once your base color dried, take a thin Nail-Art brush or a toothpick/dottingtool and start creating diagonal lines with a dark brown color about halfway up your nails, I used #220 Lost In Mud by Catrice. This step is really frustrating, but it's worth the result. :P

Then choose 3 of your favorite nailpolishes (you could use more or less colors, just do whatever you like best!), preferably pastel colors, and create a ball of ice and make it look like it's melting. I did this using the regular nailpolish brush, if you want to you could use a thin Nail-Art brush or whatever works best for you.

I used glitter nailpolishes that match the color of my ice. You could skip this step if you like the way your ice creams looked previously.

Finish off with a top coat and your Glitter Ice Cream Nail-Art is done! :)

Leave me a comment and let me know if you liked this design!
